Cole Joseph Schwindt left this world doing what he loved on December 2nd, 2014.
He was born May 21st, 1980 to Pat and Heidi Schwindt and grew up in Moorhead, MN where he attended school.
Racing was always his passion and something he excelled in quickly, starting in BMX racing then Snowcross and Motocross. Slot car racing was a hobby he loved to do with his family and friends, as well as cooking and entertaining.
Cole worked with his uncle Steve installing and servicing underground lawn sprinklers for over 15 years. A few years ago he branched out and started his own business, Red River Irrigation, which was an instant success. Customers fondly remember his great attitude and care.
What brought Cole the most happiness was becoming a father. The time he spent with his daughters meant the world to him, and you could just tell by the smile on his face.
He never turned down fishing with his cousin, Simon, even if they wouldn't catch anything. Cole was an avid golfer, enjoyed racing go-carts, and playing mini golf at Thunder Road. His sense of humor, laugh, jokes, and commentating will be greatly missed. He had a nickname for everyone, and a heart of gold.
Cole's determination and passion to succeed enabled him to love life and fill it with fun. We will forever cherish how much he lived life to the fullest, and taught us to always appreciate the moment.
