Constance Eva Holmen, 63, of West Fargo, ND, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 20, 2019. She passed peacefully right before midnight from a large brain bleed.
Connie was born June 23, 1955, in Fargo, ND. She was the daughter of Edwin and Edythe (Enget) Holmen of Horace, ND. She attended school in Horace and West Fargo, and graduated from Barnesville, MN, High School.
She attended beauty school but never pursued that career. In 1980, she married Raymond Motschenbacher and from that union two children were born, Annie Florence Joy Motschenbacher and Scott Edwin Motschenbacher, both of Fargo. She was ordained with Faith Hope Love Church and AFCM and served as associate pastor of Faith Hope Love Church in Moorhead, MN. She also worked at the church in a variety of positions. Connie had a beautiful voice and loved to sing and participate in evangelical ministries. Singing was a passion of hers as well as loving our Lord Jesus.
She worked for Moorhead Public Housing Agency in a variety of positions from 1996 to 2001. She worked her way up to MPHA Section 8 Coordinator. At the time of her death she was working for Fergus Enterprises as apartment manager.
Connie loved everyone she met, and she could make almost everyone laugh. She had a witty way about her that helped many people. She touched so many lives with her love of God, with her mission being to bring as many souls to the Lord as possible. She never let anyone get away without hearing about the Lord.
She is survived by her children, Annie and Scott; sisters, Virginia Walker, Detroit Lakes, MN, and Deborah (Randall) Eaton, Colorado Springs, CO; brothers, Richard (Marilyn) Reep, Missoula, MT, Michael Reep, Detroit Lakes, and Gary (Jewel) Reep, Lolo, MT; sister-in-law, Barb (Sheldon) Dahl, Sabin, MN; a special granddaughter, Kyra, whom she adopted at her apartment complex; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
