Connie Lou Kraemer, 77, of Moorhead, MN, passed away with family by her side on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Sanford Hospital-West Campus, Fargo.

Connie was born to Henry and Mabel (Berglund) Olson on February 10, 1946, at St. Ansgar Hospital, Moorhead, the 14^th and youngest child in the family. Connie grew up in Comstock, MN and graduated from Barnesville High School in 1964. That same year, she married Venal J. Kraemer. They lived in Moorhead and had three children, sons, Benjamin and Darin (Michelle), both of Moorhead, and daughter, Stacy (Tony) Frink, of rural Glyndon.

Connie enjoyed embroidery, sewing, reading, and having lunches with her friends. She played softball and bowled for many years. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Moorhead, where she especially enjoyed her weekly quilting meetings with the ladies of the church’s quilting group.

In addition to her children, Connie is survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Roger “Buddy” Olson, Dilworth; sister, Judy Carmen, Cottonwood, CA; brother-in-law, Rueben Berg, Fargo; and many nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Venal; her parents; six brothers; and five sisters.

A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Moorhead, with Gathering of Family and Friends one hour prior the service.
