Constance "Connie" Janet Johnson was born December 20, 1931, in Fargo, ND, to Wayne and Irene (Enos) Johnson. Connie was raised in Fargo where she received her education.
Connie worked at Grants Department Store in Fargo. She was united in marriage to Clifford H. Kuehl on June 14, 1952, in Fargo, and they made their home in Moorhead, MN.
In addition to raising her family, Connie babysat and did daycare for neighborhood families, from her home. She later worked for Eventide Lutheran Home and Hornbachers, both in Moorhead.
Spending time with family was important to Connie. She enjoyed the summers, with family, at their cabin on Long Lake, MN.
Clifford died December 8, 2010, and Connie continued to reside in Moorhead. She died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Eventide Lutheran Home, at eighty years of age.
Connie is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Kuehl, Moorhead, Pam Kuehl and Charlotte (Todd) Underdahl, both Fargo; two sons, Bruce Kuehl, Moorhead, and Steven Kuehl, Fargo; five grandchildren, Jesse and Nathaniel Kuehl, and Andy, Ellie and Willy Underdahl; sister, Sharon Regstad, Fargo; sister-in-law, Sandy Johnson, Fargo; and a brother-in-law, Billy Norback, Wisconsin.
In addition to her husband, Connie was preceded in death by two sisters, Ramona and Patty; and two brothers, Tom and Dick.
Visitation for Connie will be Monday, January 30, 2012, from 5 - 7 PM, with a prayer service at 6:30 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Her funeral will be Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at 1 PM, in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
