Dale C. Knutson

Dale Craig Knutson, 43, Moorhead, MN, passed away in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND, on Monday, September 9, 2013.

Dale was born on January 19, 1970, in Fargo, to Robert and Myrtle (Thompson) Knutson. He graduated from Moorhead High School and worked at Hornbacher's from the time he was in high school until 1998. Dale then began working at Travel Mart as a cashier, a job which he held until January 2013, when he fell ill.

Dale was an avid sports fan, following the Minnesota Vikings and North Stars for many years. His greatest passion in sporting, though, was World of Outlaws racing. He always made a yearly trip to Knoxville, IA, to see his favorite racer, Sammy Swindell.

Dale is survived by his parents; sister, Kimberly Tracy (fiancé, Jim Schilling), of Moorhead; nephew, Nathan (Kinzi) Tracy and their children, Ella and Hazel; and niece, Jessica Tracy.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert; and several aunts and uncles.
