Dale D. Sayler, age 61, of rural Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, in Sanford Hospital, Fargo.
Dale Delane Sayler, the son of Walter and Ella (Diede) Sayler, was born in Fargo, ND, on May 31, 1949. He grew up in West Fargo, ND.
Dale was married to Mary Geiger in Fargo on March 15, 1980. They made their home in rural Moorhead. Dale and Mary did foster care for a number of children over the years. Dale's faith in Jesus was important to him. He shared his faith with everyone he met.
Dale is survived by his wife, Mary; his mother, Ella; six children, Teresa VanHouten, Arthur VanHouten, Robert VanHouten, Jason A. Sayler, Andrew Jacobson-Sayler and Jason C. Sayler; brothers, Jerry and Duane (Kathy) Sayler; grandchildren, Alyssa, Alfonso, Ruby, Ana and Ella; and great-grandson, Leonard. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Walter.
Visitation: one hour prior to the funeral.
Funeral service: Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at 11 AM,
Brookdale Baptist Church, Moorhead.
Burial: Concordia Cemetery, Glyndon, MN
