Daniel E. Jacobson, 60, of Cooperstown, ND, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Daniel Eugene Jacobson was born July 24, 1954, in Frankfort, Germany, the son of Arvild and Leila (Packard) Jacobson. He spent most of his young and teenage years with his family in Madagascar. After moving back to the United States, Daniel lived with his family in Hannaford, ND. Over the years he worked as a welder and lived in Colorado and Arizona before settling in Cooperstown. One of Dan's greatest joys was fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, Cooperstown; father, Rev. Arvild (Jo) Jacobson, Sun City, AZ; sisters, Noami Vincent, Gwinner, ND, and Lisa (Mike) Guillemette, Fergus Falls, MN; brother, Rolf (Rita) Jacobson, Sydney, MT; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Leila; and sister, Paula Jacobson.
His Memorial Service will be Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at 2 PM in Griggs County Care Center, Cooperstown.
Burial for Daniel will take place in Bethel Cemetery, Sebeka, MN.
