Daniel L. Bjerke

Daniel Lee Bjerke was born April 14, 1948, to Clifford and Mildred (Warwick) Bjerke in Watertown, SD. He was raised on a farm near Lilly, SD, until the family moved to Moorhead when he was fourteen. Daniel graduated from Moorhead High School.
On September 23, 1966, he married Suzanne Muchow and they made their home in Moorhead. Daniel worked as a delivery driver for the Fairmont Creamery, which was eventually sold to Cass Clay Creamery.
In June of 1981, Daniel married Joni Bickle. He was currently working for Gateway Building Systems (formerly the Scott Moeller Company), Fargo, ND.
Daniel died Monday, January 17, 2005, in his home, Moorhead, at the age of fifty-six.
Daniel enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to play horseshoes, bowl and watch sports. His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren.
Daniel is survived by a son, Travis (Rena), Sabin, MN; two daughters, Tami (Dave) Seifert, Erhard, MN, and Kristin Bjerke, Fargo; five grandchildren, Rhiannon, Tawni, Austin, Brooke, and Taylor; his parents, Clifford and Mildred Bjerke, Moorhead; a brother, Phillip (Lucy) Bjerke, Fulda, MN; three sisters, Joan (Wallace) Fegert, Battle Lake, MN, Phyllis (Jerry) Peterson, Polson, MT, and Alice Miller, Sioux Falls, SD; and a special friend, Judy Plienis.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Troy.
