Darryl K. Brown

Darryl K. Brown, 57, Dilworth, MN, died Monday, November 21, 2005, at St. Michael's Hospital, Sauk Centre, MN.
Darryl Keith Brown was born October 17, 1948, in Fargo, ND, to James and Mary Ellen (Holmquist) Brown. Darryl was raised in the Pelican Rapids, MN, and Erhard, MN, areas. He graduated from high school in Pelican Rapids.
Darryl married Patty Ann Bennett and they made their home in Hawley, MN. They moved to Dilworth where he worked for the police department from 1969 to 1972. Darryl worked for the Clay county sheriff's department from 1972 to 1993.
In the fall of 1994, Darryl started his own trucking business, Darryl K. Brown Trucking. He also served in the Minnesota National Guard for twenty-six years. Patty died in 1997.
Darryl is survived by his son, Keith (fiancée, Trish Gregor), Dilworth; two daughters, DeAnn (Brent) Whitwer, Exeter, NE, and Ashley Ann Brown, Barnesville, MN; two grandchildren, Austin and Aubrie; one brother, Warren (Juneal), Moorhead; and his close friend and companion, Nancy Livingood, Audubon, MN.
Visitation: Sunday, November 27, 2005, from 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Funeral: Monday, November 28, 2005, at 1 PM, in Dilworth Lutheran Church, Dilworth.
Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
