David A. Dolence

David A. Dolence, 53, died peacefully on August 3, 2010, at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND. He was surrounded by his loving wife and daughters.

David Andrew Dolence was born on September 1, 1956, to Andrew and Mary Jean (Shellenberger) Dolence. He was raised in Fargo and graduated from Shanley High School. He then attended Moorhead State University, where he graduated with Honors.

On November 7, 1981, Dave married Ann Jensen in Fargo. They made their home in Moorhead, where Dave worked for over twenty years as a food sales representative for Food Service of America.

Dave had an amazing ability to find joy in the simple things in life and to turn any challenge into an adventure. His energy and stamina for life brought joy and laughter to him and his family as they spent the happiest times at the lake, fishing, gardening, and watching the Twins. Dave had a passion for cooking which was enjoyed by all family and friends. He loved being with his best friend Ann, whether it was traveling, biking, cross country skiing or doing Qi~ssage. Dave's greatest joys in life were his three daughters and he was so proud of all their accomplishments. He will be deeply missed.

Dave is survived by his wife, Ann; and his three daughters, Nicole, Kristin, and Jenna. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dave's family would like to thank his Homeopaths, Beth Nokken, Dr. Goosman and Dr. Ullman, the Spring Forest Qigong Healing Center, and all of the Sanford Health/Roger Maris Cancer Center doctors, nurses and staff, and St. Joseph's Parish for their loving
Visitation: Friday from 5 - 8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead.


Funeral Mass: Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 10 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead.


Burial: Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Sedan, MN.
