David E. Larson, Moorhead, MN, died Thursday, October 7, 2010, in Triumph Hospital, Fargo, ND.

David Earl Larson was born and raised in Pelican Rapids, MN. He attended Pelican Rapids High School and shortly after high school joined the Army. He was proud to be a member of the 101st Airborne Division.

David married Norma Kiser and they lived in Moorhead. He remained living in Moorhead until his death.

David was a man of many gifts and talents. He enjoyed woodcarving, carpentry, dog training, hunting and fishing, oil painting and working with and repairing small engines. He was a board member of the Fergus Falls Chapter of Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International.

David worked as a meat cutter in Pelican Rapids and in Moorhead. He was a gunsmith and locksmith, salesman, and owned his own meat business in Wolverton, MN, until it was lost to an electrical fire.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Kiser-Larson; a son, Lon Larson; two sisters, Ardythe (Ronald) Weiss and Verona (Robert) Elhardt; two brothers-in-law, Norman (JoAnn) Kiser and Leonard Kiser; two sisters-in-law, Darlene (Tom) Idso and Velda (Duane) Kolte
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister-in-law, Ruby Kiser; and a brother-in-law, Nicholas Kiser.




Visitation: Tuesday, October 12, 2010, from 6 - 7:30 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM, Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
A Private family Funeral Service will be held.
Burial: Prairie Home Cemetery, Moorhead.
