David Jenkins

David Wayne Jenkins, 58, Bemidji, MN, died December 3, 2015, in Amanda Kinn Adult Foster Care home, in Bemidji, after a courageous battle with cancer.

David, the son of Harold and Angela Jenkins, was born in Fargo, ND, on March 25, 1957. He grew up in Moorhead, MN, and attended Oak Grove Lutheran High School, Fargo, where he graduated in 1975.

In 1981, David married Janis Folden. They lived in Moorhead and had four children.

In 1988, he married Mary Sue Critchley and they lived in Fargo. David also lived in Blackduck and Crookston, MN, and most recently in Bemidji. He held a number of occupations, including as a truck driver. David was an avid cribbage player.

David is survived by four children, Nicole (Lance) Knudson, Fergus Falls, MN, David (Adriana) Jenkins Jr., Barnesville, MN, Douglas (Sara) Jenkins, Brookings, SD, and Kayla (Brent) Kemp, Alexandria, MN; his mother, Angela Brady, Moorhead; brothers, Michael (Deborah) Jenkins, Fargo, and Brad Jenkins, Crookston; and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Douglas; and a granddaughter, Amelia.
Memorials preferred to Oak Grove Lutheran Schools, Fargo.

David's memorial service is Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at 1 PM in Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, Fargo.
