David Kenneth Kramer, the son of David E. and Beverly (Bakken) Kramer, was born in Melrose Park, IL, on March 9, 1969. The family lived in St. Paul, MN, and Anoka, MN, before coming to Moorhead, MN, in 1976. David received his education in Moorhead, where he graduated from high school in 1987.
David proudly served in the US Marine Corps from 1987 until his honorable discharge in September of 1989. David returned to Moorhead and attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and Moorhead Technical College, where he received his associate degree. In November of 1994, David began working for Border States Electric Supply.
On June 14, 2003, David was united in marriage to Jennifer Wohlwend in Moorhead, where they made their home. David continued to work for Border States up until the time of his death. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to their Border States family for the loving care and support during David's illness.
David enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was both a hockey player and a hockey referee. Family was very important to Dave. Monday was his favorite day because he loved the promise of the whole week in front of him.
David died on Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at MeritCare Palliative Care in Fargo, ND, at the age of 38.
