David Noesen

David was born on October 31, 1952, in Moorhead, MN, to Donald and Eleanor Noesen. David had an older brother and sister, and a younger brother. His family remained in the area for all of his life, as he enjoyed traveling and living abroad. He knew Moorhead was always his home. David graduated from Moorhead Senior High in 1970, and truly was a son of our beloved community. Soon after graduation, he served our in armed forces in Vietnam and remained in the service until 1976. David spend most of his working life, again serving our country, as a postman and continued to support our nation's vets with dignity and honor.
David enjoyed the outdoor life, filled with numerous fishing and hunting trips. He moved back to Moorhead in 2006, to retire and to enjoy his days in the woods and on the lakes of our great region. With David, the fish were always a little bigger and the game even better.
His friends often referred to David as the life of the party. He was often described as someone who was there to lend a hand to anyone who had need, especially his friends and family. If you were his friend, you were considered family.
David was taken from us suddenly on November 27, 2014, Thanksgiving morning, and will be missed by so many. Memorial information is forthcoming, as the family and friends gather from across the country. David is survived by his wife, four children, and six grandchildren.
