David W. Williams

David W. Williams, 73, Fargo, ND, formerly of Louisiana, died Monday, March 18, 2024, in Sanford Medical Center, Fargo.

David Wayne Williams was born April 20, 1950, in Detroit, MI, to George and Beverly (Flynn) Williams. He was raised in Detroit and received his education there.   After high school, David served in the US Army. Upon discharge he attended and graduated from college, eventually working as a funeral director.  David owned a funeral home for a period of time, worked at Stocking Funeral Home in Tennessee, and then owned and operated a funeral transportation business.  Upon his retirement, he lived in Louisiana and recently moved to Fargo to be closer to family.

David is survived by his children, Beverly (Justin) Hamilton, Angela (Jace Bergeron) Williams, Brian (Pamela) Williams, and Keith (Krystale) Williams; grandchildren, Faith, Maria, and Alyza Hamilton, Connor Williams, Sawyer and Evelyn Bergeron, Daniel, Jimmie, Brian Jr and Miles Williams, and Tony and Sapphire Williams; and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, and a granddaughter, Zoee Hamilton.
