Deborah Jo Verdi was born April 9, 1953, in Fargo, ND. She was raised in Dilworth, MN, where she graduated from high school in 1971. Deborah received her bachelor's degree from Moorhead (MN) State University, and her master's degree from St. Cloud (MN) State University.
Deborah married John Verdi and they had made their home in Dilworth for the past thirty-seven years. Deborah worked for the State of Minnesota Department of Social Services as a regional services specialist.
Deborah died Friday, November 4, 2011, at Sanford Health, Fargo, at fifty-eight years of age, following a twenty-one year battle with brain cancer.
Deborah is survived by her husband, John; son, Anthony Verdi and his wife, Nicole; daughter, Nicole Bormann and her husband Corey; five grandchildren; mother, Charlotte Lamb; brother, Steven (Terry) Johnk; and a sister, Lori (Freemont) Pender.
At the family's request, a private family service will be held.
