Delores Baranick

Delores Marie Krush was born November 23, 1928, in Wilton, ND, to Nick and Anastacia (Kanski) Krush. Delores was raised in Wilton where she graduated from high school. She then received a medical secretary degree from Dakota Business College in Bismarck, ND, and worked in Bismarck for a time.

Delores married Paul M. Baranick on January 7, 1961, in Fargo, ND, and they made their home in Valley City, ND. They moved to Moorhead, MN, in June of 1962, where she worked as a medical secretary at St. Ansgar Hospital, and for Doctors Holten and Ladwig.

Paul died August 11, 1989, and Delores continued to make her home in Moorhead. Delores was very active and devoted to her church, St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She volunteered in many capacities and worked for the priests of the church, assisting them in their day to day responsibilities of the rectory as well as the church.

Delores is survived by her daughters, Mary (Joel) Ellingson, Maple Grove, MN, and Jo Ann (Brian) Sadler, Grand Forks, ND; three grandchildren, Samuel (Michael) Sadler, Andrew Sadler, and Jake Ellingson; two great-grandsons, Noah and Oscar Sadler; one brother, Anton (Rose) Krush, Wilton; one sister, Frances Krush, Bismarck; and brothers-in-law, Dan (Norma) Baranick, Minot, ND, and Gerald Baranick, Idaho Falls, ID.

In addition to her husband, Delores was preceded in death by her parents; and five sisters, Pearl, Eva, Katherine, Sue, and Pauline.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 5 - 7 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead.

The Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 6, 2018, at 11 AM, in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
