Delores Moore

Delores June Smith, the daughter of Charlie and Kathryn (Adams) Smith, was born November 4, 1929, in Hillsboro, Illinois. As a child, she moved with her family to Felton, MN, California, and then to the Detroit Lakes, MN, area, where she graduated from high school.
In 1929, Delores married Erling J. Moore. They lived in Fargo, ND, and later in Perley, MN. Delores worked in Fargo, and owned and operated Dee's Hartz Store in Perley. She later became a CNA, working for MeritCare Home Health, until she retired in 1999.
In 2000, her husband, Erling, died, and Delores moved to Dilworth, MN, where she had lived since.
Delores J. Moore died Friday, March 26, 2010, in Innovis Health, Fargo, at the age of 80. She is survived by her daughter, Erlys J. Moore, Bemidji, MN; a grandson, Benjamin J. Wagar-Moore, Bemidji; and a brother, Dale (Iretta) Smith, Felton. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harold, Howard, and Charles; and two sisters, Della Lakeman and Lucille Yeager.
