Denise Irene Lee

Denise Irene Lee, 38, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, February 2, 2015, in her home.

Denise Irene Howland was born June 3, 1976, the daughter of Jerome and Catherine (Crawford) Howland, in Grafton, ND. She lived her early years in Adams, ND, until moving with her family to Grafton at the age of seven. She graduated from Grafton High School in 1995 and then worked at Pamida, Grafton Square, Pizza Hut and Unity Hospital.

In 2007, she moved to Fargo and began working at Sanford Health. On October 18, 2008, she was united in marriage to Thomas Lee in St. Mary's Cathedral in Fargo. They made their home in Fargo and Denise worked at Pepsi America, Country Hearth Bread Store, and also sold Avon.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting and socializing with friends. Denise was the ultimate caregiver. Her kind heart was full of love and compassion for many. So often she would lend a helping hand to those who were in need.

Denise is survived by her loving husband, Thomas; her beloved cats, Mouse and ShaSha; sisters, Dawn Howland and Diane Howland, both Fargo; brothers, Michael (Angela Gunderson) Howland, Willmar, MN, and Matthew Howland, Grafton; mother-in-law, Barbara Lee, Fargo; brothers-in-law, Benjamin (Kylee) Lee, Dayton, OH, and Christopher (Frank Abrahamian) Lee, North Hollywood, CA; nephews, Grayson Howland and Camden Lee; nieces, Julia, Alena and Esther Lee; and Godchildren, Kayl and Evelyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Robert Lee; and infant twin sister, Debbie.

A Visitation for Denise will be Friday from 5 PM until 7 PM, with a 7 PM Prayer Service in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN.

Her Funeral Mass will be Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 11:00 AM in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
