Diane L. Schaffer

Diane Lynn Olson was born December 14, 1954, in Fargo, ND, to Wallace and Darlene (Svare) Olson. She was raised in Fargo and graduated from Fargo South High School in 1973. Diane was married to Glenn Schaffer, June 16, 1973, in Fargo, and they made their home in Colorado Springs, CO. While there, Diane worked in a healthcare recovery center.
They returned to Fargo in 1975 and she worked as a nurse's aide at St. John's Hospital, Fargo. Over the years, Diane worked for Mobility, and C and C Market, both Fargo, Larson's Super Valu, West Fargo, ND, and later with her father at Duane's Appliance, Fargo. She was presently employed with Anderson Trucking and Towing, Fargo, as a dispatcher.
Diane died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, surrounded by her family and friends in her home, under hospice care, at forty-nine years of age.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn, Fargo; two sons, Jeremy (friend, Pamela), Bismarck, ND, and Joshua (Cassandra), Fargo; two sisters, Wanda Landis, and Linda (Darrell) Lehse, both Fargo; four brothers, Larry (Jan), Thief River Falls, MN, Steve (Michelle), and Mike (Sara), both Fargo, and Mark, Warroad, MN; 21 nieces and nephews; and ten grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; mother-in-law, Lorraine Schaffer; sister-in-law, Susan Schaffer; and a nephew, Kyle Schaffer.
