DiAnn Schwarting Thompson, 48, Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, in her home.
DiAnn Lyn Monson was born May 31, 1958, in Ada, MN, to Herbert and Frances (Thornton) Monson. She was raised in Bismarck, ND, where she graduated from high school in 1976.
She was married to Cary Murschel and later to Dwight Schwarting. DiAnn attended Mary College in Bismarck, NDSU in Fargo, ND, and then NDSCS in Wahpeton where she received a degree in nursing.
DiAnn moved to Fargo in the early 1990's and married James Thompson Jr. DiAnn worked at various jobs including Melroe Manufacturing in Gwinner, ND.
DiAnn is survived by her husband, James, Moorhead; a daughter, Melanie Murschel, Bismarck; a son, Dant'e Schwarting, Fargo; her mother, Frances "Dolly" Monson, Fargo; and a brother, Mark Monson, Danville, KY.
Visitation will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Funeral: Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at 11 AM, in River Valley Church, Moorhead.
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
