Donna Mae Rogne was born October 1, 1933, in the family home in Moorhead, MN, to Ole and Bertha (Overby) Rogne. Donna was raised in Moorhead where she graduated from high school in 1952.
Donna received a business degree from Interstate Business College, Fargo, ND, and then worked in the business office at Fairmont Foods, Moorhead.
Donna married Morris Jacobson, on June 14, 1969, in Moorhead, where they continued to make their home. Donna worked at Fairmont Foods until its closure.
Donna died Friday, April 13, 2012, at Essentia Health, Fargo, at seventy-eight years of age.
Donna loved all kinds of music but was particularly fond of county and gospel music. She enjoyed bowling and volunteered many hours at Dorothy Day House as well as Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead.
She is survived by her husband, Morris, Moorhead; twin-sister, Delores (Merle) Larson, Siloam Springs, AR; brother, Raymond (Angie) Rogne, Fort Smith, AR; and five nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by two nephews and one niece.
Visitation for Donna will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Her funeral will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at 1 PM, in the chapel of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Moorhead.
