Donna Marie Jenkins

Donna Marie Anderson was born September 5, 1946, in Galesburg, ND, to Herman and Lena (Rostad) Anderson. She spent her early years in Galesburg where she attended school until the third grade. The family moved to Fargo, ND, where she graduated from Central High School in 1964.

Donna worked for thirty years at Moorhead State University. She retired in 2010 and made her home in Moorhead, MN. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donna died Sunday, April 23, 2017, in Sanford Health, Fargo, at seventy years of age.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Scott) Jenkins, Suzette (Shaun) Mullen, and Candie (Chris) Almendarez; son, Travis LaCroix; stepchildren, Rick (Pam) Jenkins, Debra Jenkins, Kellie Jenkins, and Mark (Karen) Jenkins; siblings, Gerhardt Anderson, Alvina Nelson, Roy Anderson, Esther Gregor, and Pearl Ochoa; grandchildren, Gregory LaCroix, Chelsey LaCroix, Tiffany LaCroix, and Krysta Jenkins; and great-grandchildren, Cruz, Unique and Ron Jr. Chasingbear, LaLena and Talaina LaCroix Johnson, Suriha Sioux LaCroix, and Travis LaCroix.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Leroy LaCroix, and Clarence Jenkins, who died in 1991; siblings, Lillian Hansen, Howard Anderson, and twins Myron George and May Clara Anderson; stepson, Robert Jenkins; nephews, Patrick Anderson and Gary Anderson; and a niece, Mary Elean Hansen.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11 AM, Monday, May 1, 2017, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
