Doris E. Berg, 86, Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.
Doris Evelyn Anderson was born August 25, 1918, in Walcott, ND, where she grew up and received her education. On October 22, 1935, Doris married Clarence Berg in New Effington, SD, and they made their home in Walcott. In 1951, they moved to Fargo. Clarence died on October 20, 1962, and Doris continued to make her home in Fargo.
Doris is survived by a son, Alvin (Janice) Berg, Wenathcee, WA; three daughters, DeeAnn (Wally) Plante, Fargo, MaryAnn (Ray) Rodda, Carmel, IN, and MayBelle (Larry) Graves, Fargo; four brothers, Palmer (Mae) Anderson, Fargo, Jervis (Delores) Anderson, Lyle (Maxine) Anderson, and James (Fran) Anderson, all of South Bend, IN; three sisters, Marian Owen, Mansfield, OH, Arlene Nowak, Ft. Collins, CO, and Elaine Nicklaus, Fargo; nineteen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and Marvin; and four sisters, Myrtle, Hilma, MayBelle, and Lillian.
