Doris Marian Bailey, age 85, Fargo, ND, formerly of Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, December 29, 2007, at Villa Maria, Fargo.

Doris Marian Anderson was born November 8, 1922, to William and Gerturde (Moore) Anderson, in Springdale Township, Lincoln County, South Dakota. She attended school in Iowa and Sioux Falls, SD.
On December 20, 1954, Doris was united in marriage to Duane G. Bailey, in Sioux Falls. They moved to Moorhead in 1958. They also lived in Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, and Nebraska, before retirement in 1988. In 1989, they returned to Moorhead, to be closer to family and friends.

Doris is survived by her husband, Duane G. Bailey, Moorhead; five daughters: Patricia (Anthony) Plesnicar, Chicago, IL, Judith (Robert) Videen, Moorhead, Sheila Faz and Joyce Bradshaw, both West Fargo, ND, and Kathleen (Richard) Allen, Oak Point, TX; two step daughters, Sandra (David) Christensen, Circle Pines, MN, and Becky Satter, Hermiston, OR; 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Curtis Anderson and Donald (Connie) Anderson, both Sioux Falls, SD; and two sisters, Hazel Jackson, Tinley Park, IL, and Wava Kaiser, Sioux Falls.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Beulah Davis, Jeanne Brooks and Dorothy Anderson; two brothers, Harlan and William Anderson; granddaughter, Barbara Jean Videen; and great-grandson, Michael Plesnicar.


Visitation: Tuesday, from 4 PM until 7 PM,
Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.


Prayer service: Tuesday at 7 PM,
Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.


Funeral service: Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at 2 PM,
Bethesda Lutheran Church, Moorhead.


Burial: Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Moorhead.
