Dwight LaVern Crozier was born October 16, 1930, to Ernest Willaim and Susie Kathryn (Roberts) Crozier of Promise City, IA. He was the oldest of four children: Lyle Robert, Mary Alice, and Kathryn Louise. He passed away October 30, 2022, at Viking Manor, Ulen, MN after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He had recently celebrated his 92nd birthday.

Dwight married his high school sweetheart, Dorthy Mae Clark, and served in the Heavy Construction Battalion of the Marine Corps, stationed at Port Hueneme and Barstow, CA. They resided in Corydon, IA, until 1977, when they moved to Minnesota to be closer to their daughter and her family. He spent the majority of his life in the trucking industry, hauling coal and gravel, driving local and long haul.  He spent many years working for Montgomery Ward.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Susie Crozier; his in-laws, Bob and Myrtle Clark; his sister, Louise; sisters-in-law, Donna Crozier, Louise Clark, and Deloris Clark; brothers-in-law, Lee Jackson, Dean Clark, and Larry Sales; and nephews, William Jackson, and Rodney Clark; and nieces Carolyn Terrell and Charlotte Walker. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Dorthy; his daughter, Marsha (Butch) Morse of Hawley, MN; his grandchildren, Shonna (Mike) Severson of Glyndon, MN, Troy Morse of Hawley, MN, and Trent (Jodi) Morse of Thief River Falls, MN; along with his great-grandchildren, Jayden Severson, Hannah, and Remington Morse, and Gabriel, Natalie, and Elanor Morse; his siblings, Lyle Crozier and Mary Jackson.

Interment will be held at a later date in the spring in Promise City, Iowa. 

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
