Edith B. Holm, age 75, Moorhead, MN, died Thursday, June 24, 2004, at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND, surrounded by her family.
Edith Arlene Borud, the daughter of Oscar and Emma Borud, was born May 10, 1929, at Fosston, MN, where she grew up and received her education. She was married in Fosston to Harlowe W. Holm, on July 22, 1950.
Following their marriage, Edith and Harlowe made their home in Fargo. In 1955, they moved to Moorhead, where Edith had lived since. Edith worked for the Moorhead Area Chamber of Commerce, the Ramada Inn in Moorhead and as an executive secretary for Financial Business Systems in Fargo.
Edith enjoyed spending time with family and friends and gardening. She was an active member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. She freely gave of herself and her time.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Harlowe, who died in 1995, and her parents.
She is survived by two daughters, Caren Holm, Riverside, CA, and Pat (Jon) Enderle, Fargo; two granddaughters, Heather (David) Enderle-Kemper and Kyla Enderle, both Fargo; a sister, Ruth (Francis) Tangen, Starbuck, MN; and many loving cousins, nieces and
