Edna L. Fuder, 89, Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Essentia Health Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Edna LuVerne Balken was born May 10, 1921, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Edwin and Ida (Carlson) Balken. She was raised in Fergus Falls and graduated from high school there.
Edna married Charles Schleske in Fergus Falls where they made their home and where Edna worked at a law firm as a legal secretary. Charles died unexpectedly in a drowning accident and Edna continued to live in Fergus Falls, raising their three children.
On July 11, 1963, Edna married Oliver Fuder in Fergus Falls. They moved to Moorhead where Edna cared for their home and family. Edna was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with family. She liked completing word find puzzles, reading and going to garage sales.
On May 21, 1985, Oliver died and Edna continued to make her home in Moorhead, until her death.
She is survived by her three children: Nancy Warling, Moorhead; Bob (Sandy) Fuder, Omaha, NE, and Larry Fuder, Dilworth, MN; thirteen grandchildren, Stacy, Troy, Cory, Ricky, Scott, Anna, Emma, Jessica, Andrea, Larry Jr., Kelli, Mark, and Kristi; thirteen
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; two sisters; and two step-children, DuWayne and Ladonna.
A Private family service will be held for Edna.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
