Edward Morin, 52, of Moorhead, MN, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, in his home.   

Edward Granados Morin was born April 4, 1972, the son of Guadalupe Morin II and Juanita (Granados) Loza, in Del Ray Beach, FL.   The family migrated to Ohio and then North Dakota before settling in Moorhead where he received his education.  Following high school, Edward embarked on a career as a carpenter.  He honed his skills and craftmanship over the years and worked for Eagle River Utilities.

Beyond his professional life, Edward possessed a remarkable passion for creative outlets and found solace in painting, writing, and drawing.  Music held a special place in his heart, and he relished melodies across different genres.    Whenever possible, he embarked on travels to explore new places.   From an early age, it was clear that Edward possessed an innate mechanical aptitude.   Curiosity drove him to tinker with gadgets and machinery to unravel their inner workings and construction.  

Edward will be fondly remembered by his loved ones for his vibrant spirit and will forever be cherished by those who had the honor of knowing him.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Nicole, Arlington, TX; four grandchildren, Luis Anthony Gonzalez, Haylee Jane Gonzalez, Xavier Rey Pina, Amelia Denice Pina; siblings, Ray Pená, St. Paul, MN, Guadelupe Morin III, Moorhead, Adela Morin, Gatesville, TX, and Irene Morin, Arlington, TX; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steven Morin. 

A Visitation for Edward will be Tuesday, January 30, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead.     

The burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
