Elaine M. Mueller

Elaine M. Mueller, age 67, of rural Glyndon, MN, died at her home on Thursday, December 20, 2007.
Elaine Mae Mundal, the daughter of Edwin and Erma (Zochert) Mundal, was born in Minneapolis, MN, on Feb. 11, 1940. At the age of 6, she moved with her parents to Fargo, ND, where she grew up. She graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1958, and attended Interstate Business College in Fargo.
Elaine was united in marriage to Arlan Mueller on June 3, 1961, in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fargo. They made their home in Moorhead, and later moved to rural Glyndon. Elaine worked at St. Ansgars Hospital for 25 years as their volunteer coordinator and auxiliary director. She also worked for the Clay Co. Red Cross and for E.W. Wylie Trucking Company.
Elaine was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, who loved to spoil her grandchildren. She was a woman of many talents, who loved to travel, sew, read and make pancakes for her grandkids. She was active in her church, singing in the choir and was a "guardian angel".
Elaine is survived by her husband, Arlan, rural Glyndon; eight children, Jeffrey (Teresa), Elk River, MN, Gregory (Diane), San Diego, CA, David (Lana), Moorhead, Kristi (James) Auxier, Las Vegas, NV, Steven (Trica), Rugby, ND, Michelle (Brian) DeRemer, Minneapolis, Lisa (Mark) Hinsz, Richfield, MN, and Kimberly (Matthew) Coffee, Minneapolis; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Diane (Gary) Olson, Valley City, ND; and brothers, Donald (Mary) Mundal, Monte Rio, CA, and Frank (Nannette) Roberts, Indianapolis, IN. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Howard Roberts, and a sister, Cheryl Foster.
Visitation: Tuesday, December 25, from 5 PM until 8 PM, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, Deccember 26, at 2 PM, in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1258 North Broadway, Fargo.

Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
