Eleanor M. Wussow, 86, died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN.
Eleanor Mae Dolezal, daughter of Maximiliss and Anna (Kudrna) Dolezal, was born March 24, 1917, in Winner, SD. She grew up was raised in Tripp County, SD, and graduated from high school at White River, SD. Eleanor attended Chadron State Teachers College, Chadron, NE, where she received a teaching certificate. She worked in business in several different communities in South Dakota and Minnesota, before moving to Moorhead, where she worked for several years as manager of the Montgomery Ward store.
Eleanor was united in marriage to Richard Wussow January 17, 1959, in Moorhead. The couple farmed in the Sabin, MN, area for several years until they retired. Richard died in 2001.
Eleanor is survived by one daughter, Helen (Brien Williams) Wussow, Brooklyn, NY; and one brother, William Dolezal, White River, SD. In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one brother.
