Emily Lewis

Emily Doris Lewis, age 90, of Fargo, ND, died on July 12, 2003, in Bethany Homes, Fargo. She had been a resident of Bethany since February of this year.






Emily Doris Mildred Lorack was born March 15, 1913, in Riverside, Iowa. She graduated from high school in Riverside and attended business school in Iowa City, IA.

On December 16, 1937, Emily Doris married Robert J. Lewis in Iowa City, where they made their home. They moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1951. Robert died October 14, 1989. After his death, Emily lived at Eventide Catered Living, Moorhead, and at Riverview Place, Fargo. She had previously been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moorhead.

Emily Doris is survived by her son, Craig (Donna) Lewis, of Fargo; a brother, Arthur (Ruth) Lorack, of Hills, IA, and a grandson, Brett Robert Lewis

Visitation: Tuesday, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Funeral Service: Wednesday (July 16, 2003) at 9:00 AM
Chapel of Riverview Place, Fargo.

Additional services and burial will be at Lone Tree, Iowa.
