Ernest H. Foss Sr., age 87, formerly of Glyndon, MN, and Moorhead, MN, died Friday, March 17, 2006, at Sunnyside Care Center, rural Lake Park, MN
Ernest Henry Foss, the son of Henry and Anne (Greening) Foss, was born April 24, 1918 in Fargo, ND. He grew up and received his education in the Glyndon area, where he lived and worked on local farms. Ernest lived in the state of Washington for a short period of time.
In 1987, he became a resident of Eventide The Fairmont in Moorhead, MN. He later lived at Moorhead Health Care Center. In 1999, Ernest became a resident of Sunnyside Care Center, rural Lake Park, MN.
Ernest is survived by a daughter, Mona (Phillip) Robley, Moorhead; three sons, Ernest (Georgia) Foss Jr. Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Edward (Diane) Foss, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Duane (Tina) Foss, Armuchee, Georgia; a step-son, Albert Adams, Huntley, Montana; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral service: Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at 11 AM,
Glyndon Lutheran Church, Glyndon, MN.
Burial: Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sabin, MN.
