Ervin O. Folwick

Ervin Oscar Folwick was born October 13, 1919, in Longville, MN. He grew up on the family farm in southern Minnesota. He entered the US Army in 1944. Ervin was an expert rifleman during WWII and was discharged in 1946. He worked as a crane operator for thirty-two years. Ervin raised his family and retired in Moorhead, MN.

Ervin enjoyed having coffee with his friends, gardening, and spending time with his family. Ervin died Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Elim Rehab and Care Center, Fargo, at ninety-one years of age.

Ervin is survived by his granddaughter, LaChelle; great-granddaughter, Alisha; as well as many other family and friends that loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed.
