Eva Luebke, 88, Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Eva Rothecker was born October 20, 1921, to Martin and Catherine Rothecker on a farm near Towner, ND, where she was also raised.
Eva moved to Fargo where she worked for the dietary department at the VA Hospital. It was there she met Roland Luebke whom she married on May 15, 1952. They made their home in Moorhead where she lovingly raised their two children. After the children were grown, Eva worked as a housekeeper for various families.
Eva was an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed dancing and took great pride in her flower garden. Eva was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was very devoted to her family and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Roland; her son, David R. Luebke, Eden Prairie, MN; her daughter, Arlene C. Luebke, Grafton, ND; two grandchildren, Jason M. Mell and Ashley N. Mell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and six siblings, Pauline Eliason, Helen Johnson, Theresa Rothecker, John Rothecker, Frank Rothecker, and Anton "Tony" Rothecker.
Visitation: Monday from 6 - 8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead.
Funeral: Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 10:30 AM, in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
Burial: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
