Evangeline F. Morse

Evangeline Fay Jensen Morse, 93, resident of Bethany on University, Fargo, ND, died Monday, August 4, 2014.

Evan was born July 18, 1921, in Daneville Township, Divide County, ND. She graduated from high school in 1939, in Medicine Lake, MT.

Evan was the postmistress in Zurich, MT, prior to moving to Fargo, where she worked for Dahl's Super Valu. She lived and worked in Park Rapids MN, and moved to Glenview, IL. Evan married Carl Morse in 1960, and worked for Ace Hardware in Glenview, until her retirement in 1986.

Evan moved to Moorhead, MN, upon retirement where she was very active in senior volunteer activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Palmer and Betty Jensen; husband, Carl; and brother, Russell. She is survived by her sisters, Elaine Benner, Fargo, and Loretta McChesney, Seatac, WA.

A memorial service will be Saturday, August 9, 2014, at 1 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
