Evelyn A. Kuehl, 82, Moorhead, MN, died Monday, April 10, 2006, in MeritCare Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND.
Evelyn Amanda Andvik was born December 2, 1923, near Christine, ND, to Edwin and Alma (Anderson) Andvik. When she was young, the family moved to rural Comstock, MN, where she graduated from high school.
Evelyn was married to Harris Kuehl, December 27, 1942, at her home in Comstock, and they lived and farmed in the Glyndon and Sabin, MN, area. They moved into Sabin in 1976. Evelyn entered Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, in 2003.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Harris, Moorhead; daughters, Paulette Ness, Moorhead, and Dayna (Richard) Sorby, Glyndon, MN; sons, Wade Kuehl, Dilworth, MN, and Todd Kuehl, Moorhead; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Garfield (Dona) Andvik, Sabin.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Carlott, and Milo.
Visitation: Wednesday, April 12, 2006; 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Prayer Service: Wednesday, April 12, 2006; 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral: Thursday, April 13, 2006; 2 PM, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Sabin.
Interment: Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sabin.
