The Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Monday, June 29, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 28, 2009, from 5 PM to 7 PM, with a prayer service at 6 PM, at Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
Evelyn Dally was born on September 8, 1925, in Adrian, ND, to David William "Bill" Dally and Grace (Fliescher) Dally. On August 25, 1945, she was united in marriage to Johnie E. Beckerleg in Marion, ND. Shortly after they married, they moved to Fargo, ND, and have resided in the Fargo-Moorhead area for the past 63 years.

Evelyn was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she belonged to Catholic Daughters and Christian Mothers. She remained an active member of a homemakers group where she was a charter member of their bowling league. Evelyn was a 37-year breast cancer survivor. Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She always wore a smile and had an upbeat attitude, which many times included a joke or a humorous story. Being with family and friends was her favorite activity.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Johnie, and their five children: Dennis (Mary) Beckerleg, Moorhead, Diane (Dewey) Olson, Moorhead, Mark (Rebecca) Beckerleg, Baxter, MN, Judy (Jay) Stillwell, Breckenridge, MN, and Casey (Carolyn) Beckerleg, West Fargo,
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Ruby, Wilma, Marion (Tony), and Marjorie, and two brothers, Lester and Arthur.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
