Faith A. Barnes, 16, of Fargo, ND, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Essentia Health in Fargo.
Faith Ann Barnes was born June 12, 1996, in Fargo, the daughter of Stephen and Maria (Weiss) Barnes. She was currently a junior at Fargo North High School. Faith loved music, she enjoyed playing the piano, guitar and violin and recently started writing her own music. She also enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with friends, family and her dog, Brandy.
Faith was a free spirit and had a great thirst for learning and knowledge. She touched many lives with her laughter, compassion and love for humanity. Her drive and convictions were important to her and could be seen by how she lived her day to day life.
She is survived by her parents, Stephen and Maria; sisters, Nicole Hellerud of Fargo, and Amy Hellerud of Minot; brothers, Roger Hellerud of Fargo, and twin brother, Christian Barnes of Fargo; nephew, Nathan Fiskum, Jr.; grandparents, Mary Barnes and Roger and Bernadette Weiss all of Fargo; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Christine, and grandfather, Richard Barnes.
Visitation: Friday, 5 PM to 7 PM with a Prayer Service at 7 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead
Funeral Service: Saturday, May 4, 2013, at 10:30 AM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel.
Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
