Faye Collins Faust

Visitation for Faye will be Monday, March 7, from 5 - 6 PM, with a prayer service at 6 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Faye passed away Friday, March 4, 2016, at Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead, at seventy-five years of age, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

She is survived by her husband, John Faust; mother, Rozell Lockett; daughter, Andrea (Wayne); step-children, Jennifer (John), Rebecca, and Joseph; granddaughter, Faith; step-grandchildren, Joseph, Alex, Brianna, and Stewart; brothers-in-law, Lee (Frances), and Greg (DeAnn); and special friend Carelyn Johnson

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Collins; son, Reginald Collins; father, Cassie Bookman; and her grandparents.

A funeral and burial will be held at St. Stanislaus Koska Catholic Church, in Richards, TX.




From Faye.....

If cancer takes my life sooner rather than later, I am at peace and my soul is not searching for happiness because I am already there. If you hear that I have passed on, have a party in celebration of life. Remember I didn't give up, but we all need to rest at some point. If you awake and I am no longer here, I have taken Christ's invitation to come home. The great Maya Angelou wrote in her last days: "Listen to yourself and in that quietude you might her the voice of God." I have heard his voice and within his voice is the love of my being a child of his. I want you to know that God hears your prayers. I have been over two years fighting this pancreatic cancer and God has given me a way to say good bye on my own terms. We have won my friends, and we don't know it yet.

I want to thank you, my friends, family and loved ones for your love, prayers and support. Special thanks to my friend Carelyn Johnson who helped me so much. Thank you to all the nurses, doctors and staff and Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, and Eventide on Eighth in Moorhead.
