Frank M. Mills, 92, Grand Rapids, MN, died February 13, 2004, at Grand Village in Grand Rapids.
Frank was born in Petersburg, ND, on March 17, 1911, to Newton and Charlotte (Moore) Mills. The family moved to Felton, MN, when Frank was a child. Frank married Margaret Ann Prenosil on February 13, 1933. They lived and raised their family first in Perley and then in Georgetown, MN. He retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1974. In 1991 they moved to Grand Rapids, MN. His wife died in 1998.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers and a granddaughter.
He is survived by a brother, Edgar Mills, Sequim, WA; two sisters, Ann Davis, Burien, WA, and Ellen (George) Hettinger, North Aurora, IL; ten children, Richard (Geri) Mills, Stuart, FL, Patricia (Bobby) Galloway, St. Cloud, MN, Francis (Wanda) Mills, Tierra Verda, FL, June (Dale) vonRuden, Pismo Beach, CA, Ronald Mills, Colorado Springs, CO, Arlene (Jim) Kieffer, Wheatland, ND, Sherry Mills, St. Paul, MN, Harris (Mary) Mills, Grand Rapids, Douglas (Terry) Mills, Elkton, VA, and Kim (Carolyn) Mills, Rockford, MI; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, from 6 until 8 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM
