Gary David Olson was born May 31, 1941, at the family home in Comstock, MN, to Henry and Mabel (Berglund) Olson. Gary was raised in Comstock and graduated from Barnesville (MN) High School in 1961.
Gary lived in Leonard, ND, and Dilworth, MN, and settled in Fargo, ND, where he worked as a concrete finisher for AJ Construction.
Gary moved to St. Catherine's Living Center, Wahpeton, ND, on April 16, 2013. He died there on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at seventy-one years of age.
He is survived by his siblings, Margie Rehder, Puyallup, WA, June (Art) Hoffman, Fergus Falls, MN, Roger Olson, Dilworth, Carol Ann (Reuben) Berg, West Fargo, ND, Judy Carmen, Cottonwood, CA, and Connie (Venal) Kraemer, Moorhead, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Howard, Willis, Donald, Virgil, and Lowell Olson, and Audrey Gruenberg, and Lavon Dawson.
Memorial Service: Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at 2 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Visitation will be in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, one hour before the service.
Inurnment will be in Clara Cemetery, Comstock, MN.
