Gary Klimek

Gary R. Klimek, age 59, died at his home in Moorhead, MN, on Friday, July 30, 2004.


Gary was born February 11, 1945, in Parkers Prairie, MN. The family lived in Millerville, MN, until 1953, when they moved to Moorhead. Gary received his education in Moorhead. He married Joanne Holden in 1963, and they lived in Moorhead and in Fargo, ND.


Gary worked in construction in the Fargo-Moorhead area. He worked as a carpenter, mason and concrete worker for a number of local firms. He was disabled and retired about 3 years ago.


Gary is survived by a daughter, Tracy Klimek, Everett, WA; a son, James Klimek, Everett; a brother, Marvin (Karen) Klimek, Moorhead; two sisters, Luella (Norman) Ulmer and Shirley (Paul) Dukart, both West Fargo, ND; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral service: Wednesday, August 4, 2004, at 10 AM

Burial: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
