George Louis Busby, the son of Francis and Ordella (Larson) Busby, was born June 14, 1946, in Detroit Lakes, MN. He grew up and received his education in Ulen, MN, where he graduated from high school in 1965.
George lived on the family farm near Ulen and worked at the American Crystal Sugar Beet plant in Moorhead, MN. In about 1998, he moved from Ulen to Moorhead, where he had lived since. He retired in 2008.
George was an avid gardener. He also enjoyed fishing and caring for his three dogs. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Moorhead.
George died in his home in Moorhead on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the age of 66.
He is survived by a brother, Perry; four cousins; and a special friend, Carol Peddycoart.
Visitation: One hour prior to the funeral, at the church.
Funeral: Friday, April 19, 2013, at 10 AM in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 610 13th Street North, Moorhead.
Arrangements by: Korsmo Funeral Service, Moorhead.
