Gerald A. Krabbenhoft

Gerald Arthur Krabbenhoft was born June 7, 1921, in Page, ND, to Henry and Emma (Notzelmann) Krabbenhoft. The family moved to Harwood, ND, when Gerald was ten years of age.
Gerald attended school in Harwood and farmed with his family. He entered the US Army on February 7, 1945 and was stationed in the Philippines during the Asiatic Pacific Theatre of WW II. He served honorably until his discharge on November 30, 1946, at which time he returned to farming at Harwood.
Gerald was united in marriage to Luella Stutzman on November 3, 1951, in Glyndon, MN, and they continued to live and farm at Harwood. They moved into Fargo, ND, in 1984. Luella preceded Gerald in death on April 26, 1994.
Gerald died at his Fargo home on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at eighty-seven years of age.
He is survived by his son, Jerome Krabbenhoft, Fargo; and a brother, Melvin Krabbenhoft, Casselton, ND.
Visitation for Gerald will be Sunday, September 28, 2008, from 3 - 5 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
