Gerald "Jerry" Kemmer

Gerald "Jerry" William Kemmer was born December 28, 1958, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Alton and Lorraine (Schieffer) Kemmer. He grew up in Dilworth, MN, where he graduated from high school. After graduation, he worked for various employers in the automotive field.
On September 8, 1979, Jerry married Jill Fladgard in Moorhead where they made their home. Jerry worked as a mechanic for Wold's RV Sales, Detroit Lakes. His most current employment was in parts production with Luther Selland Motors, Moorhead.
Jerry died Thursday, October 7, 2004, in his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley, at the age of forty-five.
Jerry loved to spend time on Lake Lizzie at his parents' lake cabin. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Jill, and three children, Joshua, Joseph and Jaimie, all of Moorhead; his parents, Alton and Lorraine, Dilworth; two sisters, Peggy (Thom) Horowitz, Los Angeles, CA, and Debra Kemmer, Fargo, ND; three brothers, Patrick (Cheryl), Glyndon, MN, and Leland (Patti) and James (Beth), all of Fargo; nephews and nieces, Freddie, Annie, Amanda, Brady, Logan, Austin, and Maddisyn; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken (Mardrie) Fladgard; and sister-in-law, Julie Fladgard.
Family would like to specially thank Dr. Kobrinsky and his staff at Roger Maris Cancer Center for their support and care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Roger Maris Cancer Center in memory of Jerry.
