Gerald S. Klevgaard, 70, of Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, April 8, 2018, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
Gerald, son of George and Signora Klevgaard, was born Feb. 8, 1948, in Ada, MN. He grew up in Felton, MN. He served his county in the US Navy, on board the USS Ranger, during the Vietnam conflict.
Gerald was a chef who worked in the Fargo-Moorhead area, Valley City, ND, and in Hawley, MN. He retired in about 2008.
Gerald is survived by his daughter, Janice Klevgaard, of Fergus Falls, MN; sisters, Shirley Finch and Brenda (Arlen) Cummings; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronnie; sisters, Janice Ehrichs, Fran Bittner, and Diane Bridgewater; and a niece, Kathleen Cummings.
A celebration of Gerald's life will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018, from 2 PM until 4 PM, in the Moorhead American Legion Club, Moorhead.
