Gladys E. Folstrom, 89, Moorhead, MN, died November 14, 2007, in Golden Living Center, Moorhead.
Gladys Larson was born Jan. 23, 1918 to Carl and Martha Larson in Fergus Falls, MN. She grew up on a farm between Bejou and Fosston, MN, and graduated from Mahnomen (MN) High School.
On Oct. 9, 1939, she married Manley Folstrom. They lived in Cass Lake, MN, and later in Mahnomen. In the early 1950's, they moved to Moorhead, where this special mother and grandmother worked at the Ramada Inn and for the Comstock family, until she retired.
Gladys is survived by son, Gerald (Jean) Folstrom, Moorhead; daughter, Marlene (Dennis) Thatcher, Des Moines, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grand-children; a sister, Leida Fjeld, Fosston; and brother, Kenneth Larson, rural Fosston.
Gathering of Friends: Sunday, November 18, from 4 PM until 7 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Memorial Service: Monday, November 19, at 10:30 AM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
