Gladys M. Voxland, 91, Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, September 16, 2006, in ManorCare Health Services, Fargo, ND.
Gladys M. Voxland was born March 6, 1915, in Detroit Lakes, MN, to Charley and Esther (Lee) Livingood. She married Hardy M. Voxland, December 29, 1937, in Detroit Lakes. He died December 11, 1982.
Gladys was a homemaker and worked many years as a cook for the Moorhead Public School system.
She is survived by one son, David (Jean) Voxland, Eugene, OR; two daughters, Sandra (Robert) Holmes, Bangkok, Thailand, and Judith (Stephen) Longtin, Eugene, OR; five grandchildren, Scott Voxland, Pam Graf, Jeffry Longtin, Ann Marie Gallentine, and Alexandra Holmes; five great-grandchildren, Amber Kolrud, Mitchell Longtin, Cate Longtin, Jordan Longtin, and Regan Longtin; two sisters, Charlene (A.W.) Johnson, Detroit Lakes, and Marlys (Bud) Brahmer, Detroit Lakes; and six brothers, Lester (Donna), Lacey, WA, Leonard (Alfryda) Callaway, MN, Curtis (Ellie), Tucson, AZ, Dean (Mae), Detroit Lakes, M. Dale (Phyllis), Savannah, GA, and Harlan (Pat) Lowry, MN.
A memorial service will be Saturday, September 23, 2006, at 10 AM, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
Inurnment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
