Glenice L. Hansen, 71, Glyndon, MN, died peacefully at MeritCare Palliative Care in Fargo, ND, on Saturday, May 24, 2008.
Glenice Lorraine Miller, the daughter of Carl and Violet (Bugbee) Miller, was born November 10, 1936, in Fergus Falls, MN. She grew up and received her education in Fergus Falls. She was employed by Josef's School of Hair Design in Fargo.
On October 24, 1959, Glenice married Maurice Hansen, in Zion Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls. After their marriage, they lived in Dilworth, MN, and later moved to Glyndon. Glenice enjoyed baking, cooking, and entertaining friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Glen Hansen, Wolverton, MN, and Marty Hansen, Glyndon; a granddaughter, Molly Hansen, Barnesville, MN; sisters, Marlys (Joseph) Ovlinger in Ohio, Dolly (Bob) Dickerson, Perham, MN, and Joanne (Bill) Walkup, Dilworth; brother, Lester (Beverly) Miller, Perham; sister-in-law, Darlene (Ken) Loomes in British Columbia, Canada; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice, who died in 2005, her parents, and a brother, Doyle.
